I am incredibly sad to be leaving The Growing Place. I count you all as one of the most impactful blessings we’ve had in San Diego. I can at least say, (as in the proverb of giving a man a fish verses teaching a man to fish) you all fall into the ‘teaching to fish‘ category. You do not merely stand as a finite blessing of giving us fish while we were with you. I have not only learned valuable concrete lessons in child education, but, more importantly, have gained a greater awareness and increased insight as to right philosophy for educating a child.
The Growing Place will be missed tremendously, but I am comforted by the fact that I can take all of these lessons with me, as well as a new ideology, and our family will forever be immeasurably better off for it.
